Jack L. Platt received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida, and his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University. Graduating in 1993, Mr. Platt completed his undergraduate and graduate programs in only four and one-half years, rather than the standard seven years.

Following graduation, Mr. Platt joined the prestigious law firm of High, Stack, Lazenby, Palahach, Maxwell & Morgan, becoming a partner after only two years. In 2001, Mr. Platt was instrumental in forming the firm which has become Platt Jacobus Fielding & Torres.

Mr. Platt is a member of one of Brevard County's founding families, many of whom continue to carry on the family tradition of cattle ranching. Following graduation from high school, Mr. Platt became a firefighter for several years and his experience as a firefighter has left a lasting respect and trust for the men and women who protect our lives and property on a daily basis. The firm continues to support many firefighter programs in the community.

Since becoming an attorney in 1994, Mr. Platt has achieved numerous substantial recoveries in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, insurance, bad faith, and PIP litigation. Mr. Platt's professional memberships include the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, Florida Bar, Brevard County Bar, American Trial Lawyers Association, National Academy of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Mr. Platt is frequently asked to testify as an expert in PIP litigation.
