Bruce W. Jacobus, Jr. is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University and the University of Florida. Admitted to the Florida Bar in 1996, he practices in the areas of personal injury and workers compensation.
Mr. Jacobus comes from a tradition of lawyers and is a lifetime resident of Brevard County, where his family has resided since 1946. He attended Gemini Elementary, Hoover Junior High School and Melbourne High School, the latter from which he graduated from in 1988.
Mr. Jacobus is currently a member of the Brevard County Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, where he serves as an Eagle Member. He served on the board of directors for the Young Lawyers Division of the Brevard County Bar Association and participated in the Vasser B. Carlton American Inns of Court.
He is a founding member and shareholder in the law firm of Platt, Jacobus, Fielding & Torres, LLC. He is married to Tracy Jacobus who is a former Brevard County Assistant State Attorney. They have three children, Cole, Evan and Lauren.
