Trina Downey, a longtime Jacksonville resident, relocated to Brevard several years ago with her husband, Brad, and serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of Platt Jacobus Fielding & Torres. Ms. Downey manages personnel and keeps the firm's attorneys in touch with the pulse of the business. However, her primary goal is to allow the attorneys to maintain a dedicated focus on their clients and not be distracted by day-to-day business. She has been with the firm since inception in July 2001.

Prior to joining Platt Jacobus Fielding & Torres, Ms. Downey spent five years as president of Glover Oil Company, and then consulted as a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor for many area businesses. She earned a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from University of North Florida in Jacksonville. She also maintains an active CPA license.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time planning and participating in remodeling projects with her husband, Brad, and watching their 10 year-old son, R.B., play soccer. She also serves as Treasurer on the volunteer board of directors of the Brevard Alzheimer's Foundation, Inc.
